David Gilfillan – Director (Sydney)
David has over sixteen years’ experience in the audio industry as an electro-acoustic system designer, engineer and theatrical sound designer. A diverse skill set and commitment to quality fosters approaches to audio solutions that are technically elegant, effective and creative. His roles as a principal of ICE Design include critical audio system conceptualisation, design, prototyping and commissioning. He also brings a wealth of experience in live audio and theatre sound, undertaking the design, implementation, commissioning, and operation of sound systems on a freelance basis for a number of firms. David is currently developing a low-profile loudspeaker prototype to meet the critical heritage needs of St James Court in Sydney and driving the electroacoustic designs for Great Hall at Northern Territory Parliament.
