Together with several industry partners, ICE Design has successfully demonstrated the distributed courtroom concept in Bribane’s Queen Elizabeth II Courts of Law building. Using modified telepresence equipment across three interlinked courtrooms, a mock trial was conducted across three sites, two parties appearing remotely at each. Oversized screens and carefully positioned acoustically-localised audio systems and cameras were used to enhance the realism and presence of remote participants
