Integration

There are significant interactions and interdependencies between the technologies and infrastructure that make up an operational courtroom. Room acoustics, environmental noise, lighting and room layout are all major aspects of design. An understanding of each of these elements is fundamental to the development of any courtroom solution. It is no longer reasonable or effective to undertake an ad-hoc selection or upgrade of even a simple microphone or speaker without an understanding of the effect on other system components and total courtroom performance.

Of equal importance is the architectural integration of the technology into fabric of the court.   The ability to meld technology into the look and feel of the architectural elements of the courtroom maintains the integrity of the space.

The holistic integration of technologies and environment provides significant benefits in terms of quality and homogeneity, and will ensure the courtroom is operating at its optimum performance level. This of course translates equally to all other areas where technology and the environment meet.
